====== Fund Distribution ======

This section is for working through buttons, related lists and lightning pages for the Fund Distribution object. Fund Distribution is a way to record the distribution schedules for Designated funds. Add custom fields as needed. For more detailed instruction on configuring Page Layouts or Lightning Pages, see the [[1accounts|Accounts]] or [[20contacts|Contacts]] object configuration.

==== Page Layouts ====
    * Click **Setup**, **Object Manager**, **Fund Distribution**
    * Select **Page Layouts**, Select **Fund Distribution Layout (FDNP)**, then **Save As** to create a new version
    * Click **Related Lists** in the pallet
        * Add or remove related lists as needed
    * **Save**
If a new page layout was created, assign to the appropriate Profiles

==== Lightning Page ====
A custom Lightning Page isn't necessary for this object. Users will see the Fund Distribution in a "Default" lighting view. But if you want to configure one, follow these steps.

From Fund Distribution, Object Manager, Select **Lightning Record Pages**
    * If a page exists, select it or Click **New** to create a new page
    * If you selcted an existing page, Click **Clone** and add a new label and API Name, configure as needed, Click **Save**
    * If you clicked **New**, Select **Record Page** from left panel, **Next**
      * Assign a Label and Search and Select the object (in this case Fund Distribution), **Next**
      * Choose a **Page Template** from left panel, **Done**
      * Build the new Fund Distribution lightning page by dragging the components and fields from the left panel.
      * **Save** and **Activate**
