Contact Attributes

This section is for working through buttons, related lists and lightning pages for the Contact Attributes object. Contact Attributes is a way to tag Contacts to track specific items, such as mailings or boards & committees. Add custom fields as needed. For more detailed instruction on configuring Page Layouts or Lightning Pages, see the Accounts or Contacts object configuration.

• Page Layouts
• Lightning Page

• Click Setup, Object Manager, Contact Attributes
• Select Page Layouts, Select Contact Attribute Layout, then Save As to create a new version or simply edit the existing version
• Click Related Lists in the pallet
  • Add or remove related lists as needed
• Save

If a new page layout was created, assign to the appropriate Profiles

A custom Lightning Page isn't necessary for this object. Users will see the Contact Attribution in a “Default” lighting view. But if you want to configure one, follow these steps.

From Contact Attribution, Object Manager, Select Lightning Record Pages

• If a page exists, select it or Click New to create a new page
• If you selcted an existing page, Click Clone and add a new label and API Name, configure as needed, Click Save
• If you clicked New, Select Record Page from left panel, Next
  • Assign a Label and Search and Select the object (in this case Contact Attributes), Next
  • Choose a Page Template from left panel, Done
  • Build the new Contact Attributes lightning page by dragging the components and fields from the left panel.
  • Save and Activate
