GAU Allocation

This section is for working through buttons, related lists and lightning pages for the GAU Allocation object (sometimes relabeled to Gift Allocation or Fund Allocation). The GAU Allocation represents the transaction into a Fund. Add custom fields as needed. For more detailed instruction on configuring Page Layouts or Lightning Pages, see the Accounts or Contacts object configuration.

• Page Layouts
• Lightning Page

• Click Setup, Object Manager, GAU Allocation
• Select Page Layouts, Select Allocation Layout(FDNP), then Save As to create a new version
• Click Related Lists in the pallet
  • Add or remove related lists as needed
• Save

If a new page layout was created, assign to the appropriate Profiles

A custom Lightning Page isn't necessary for this object. Users will see the GAU Allocation in a “Default” lighting view. But if you want to configure one, follow these steps.

From GAU Allocation, Object Manager, Select Lightning Record Pages

• If a page exists, select it or Click New to create a new page
• If you selcted an existing page, Click Clone and add a new label and API Name, configure as needed, Click Save
• If you clicked New, Select Record Page from left panel, Next
  • Assign a Label and Search and Select the object (in this case GAU Allocation), Next
  • Choose a Page Template from left panel, Done
  • Build the new GAU Allocation lightning page by dragging the components and fields from the left panel.
  • Save and Activate
