This section is for understanding how to use the Disbursement object. The Disbursement is a child record of the Funding Request and is the parent record of the GAU Expenditure record.

Fields included with the Funding Request object include picklist, lookup, formula, date and text fields. Work with your teams to determine how your org uses this object. Make sure the fields are included on the Funding Request Page Layout and Lightning Page.

• Delete_Disbursements_and_GAU_Expenditures
• Automate_Disbursement_Creation

• From the Funding Request record that's already been created and the Awarded Amount has been populated
• Typically under the Disbursement tab, click New Record in the Payment Schedule component
• Complete the required fields in the Create Disbursement section, then click Calculate

• Now review the Schedule Created. In the example below, two disbursements spaced 6 months apart for $2,500 each are scheduled from the same fund.
• Field are all editable; can Cancel and Calculate again
• Click Save

• Back on the Funding Request, the Disbursement records are visible in the Disbursement related list
• In the Payment Scheduler, the Disbursement and GAU Expenditure information is visible

• From the Disbursement record, the GAU Expenditure is also created
