This section is for identifying and understanding how to use the Grant Budget Transaction object in the Donor 360 package. Grant Budget Transaction works with Grant Budget Entry and Grant Budget Balance to manage the granting budget for a fund. It's designed to track the money the fund can spend for the year and then works with the Grant Budget Entry and Grant Budget Transactions to track the money moving in and out of the fund within the Grant Budget for the fund.
Work with your teams to determine which fields you plan to use. This is designed to work with Accounting Seed and the Fund 360 package but if your org does not use either of those packages, the fields can be used and integrated with an outside accounting package. Make sure these are included applicable fields on the Grant Budget Balance Page Layout and Lightning Page.
